Loaded Mashed Potato Casserole
A creamy, cheesy dish that’s like mashed potatoes turned into a comforting casserole.
Ingredients
- 4 cups Mashed Potatoes (homemade or instant)
- 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded
- ½ cup Sour Cream
- ¼ cup Milk
- 4 slices Bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix mashed potatoes, sour cream, milk, half of the shredded cheese, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the mixture evenly in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle crumbled bacon, remaining cheese, and green onions on top.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until cheese is melted and casserole is heated through.
- Serve hot as a side or comfort main dish.
Optional additions
- Add roasted garlic to mashed potatoes for extra flavor.
