Blackberry Cobbler
A warm, sweet, and slightly tart dessert that’s perfect for summer—or anytime you have fresh or frozen blackberries.
Ingredients
- 4 cups Blackberries (fresh or frozen)
- ¾ cup Granulated Sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
- 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
- 1 cup Milk
- ½ cup Unsalted Butter, melted
- 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine blackberries, half the sugar, and lemon juice. Pour into a greased baking dish.
- In another bowl, mix flour, remaining sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk until smooth.
- Pour the batter over the berries—don’t stir; it will bake over the fruit.
- Drizzle melted butter on top.
- Bake for 45–50 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
- Let it cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with Vanilla Ice Cream if desired.
✅ Tip: For extra flavor, add a teaspoon of Vanilla Extract or a sprinkle of Cinnamon to the batter.
