Blackberry Cobbler

A warm, sweet, and slightly tart dessert that’s perfect for summer—or anytime you have fresh or frozen blackberries.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Blackberries (fresh or frozen)
  • ¾ cup Granulated Sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Milk
  • ½ cup Unsalted Butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine blackberries, half the sugar, and lemon juice. Pour into a greased baking dish.
  3. In another bowl, mix flour, remaining sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk until smooth.
  4. Pour the batter over the berries—don’t stir; it will bake over the fruit.
  5. Drizzle melted butter on top.
  6. Bake for 45–50 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  7. Let it cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with Vanilla Ice Cream if desired.

✅ Tip: For extra flavor, add a teaspoon of Vanilla Extract or a sprinkle of Cinnamon to the batter.

This cobbler is easy, comforting, and a crowd-pleaser!
